How we give back
We are supporters of:
We are a corporate supporter of the Butterwick Hospice. We donate monthly to this and also support with charity tubs and other fund raisers. The Hospice offers a wide range of supportive day services for people suffering life limiting illnesses and offers care and support to patients families. Butterwick Hospice, Stockton also offers 10 In-patient beds. The Hospice expertise is freely available to those living in Stockton, Billingham, Yarm, Norton and Eaglescliffe and surrounding villages.
The Butterwick is personally close to our hearts but is also close to many of a customers hearts. Mary Butterwick and the Butterwick Charity had petrol accounts at our Oxbridge site. We regularly saw Mary who was such an inspiration to many.
We collect and donate for the MS Society that provides much needed support to people living with MS. (MS Teesside)
We support local sports teams, donate to our local schools, parks, parish councils and many other great causes within our communities through Making a Difference Locally.
It is our goal through donating and collecting to try and raise a minimum of £5000 a year for our charities.
Our forecourt journey began back in 1978 when Ian Stevenson took on his first forecourt in Marton, Middlesbrough as a tenant with Mobil Oil. Ian took on more sites with Mobil through the 80’s and bought his first site in 1984 in Oxbridge, Stockton which we still operate today. The business is now run by John, Ian’s son who joined the business full time in 1999 and who having literally all his life been brought up in and around forecourts was well equipped to take the reins.
We are continually developing the business and over the last 40 plus years have evolved from forecourts with small shops to shops that sell fuel!
Please do get in touch if there is anything we can help with.
Retailing fuel since 1978
